Kiindee is an AI-powered app that acts as a virtual advocate, supporting patients through the kidney donation process by sharing their challenge and educating potential donors. Kiindee was inspired by Brent Cheal’s personal journey. His daughter was diagnosed with kidney disease at ten, and a transplant was her only option. Brent donated a kidney, giving her a new lease on life.
Sixteen years later, her donated kidney began to deteriorate. Finding a new donor proved far more difficult, revealing how isolating and overwhelming the process can be.
