Our Foundation was created by and led by kidney patients and living donors. Our commitment is that 80% of our leadership positions are held by patients or kidney donors who best understand the needs.
Our Story
Our Founder, Susan McKenzie, believed that kidney patients and living kidney donors had a huge opportunity to improve kidney care and improve the lives of other patients. We just needed a way to connect with, mobilize and empower patients around issues that matter most to them.
