The Renal Patient and Donor Foundation is Canada’s first and only charitable foundation led by kidney patients and donors, working together to amplify patient and donor voices and drive positive change in kidney care and kidney transplantation.
We raise funds for projects that bring about meaningful improvements for kidney patients and living kidney donors across the healthcare system.The Kidney Patient and Donor Alliance is Canada’s only non-profit organization led by kidney patients and donors, working together to amplify patient and donor voices and drive positive change in kidney care and kidney transplantation.
We advocate for tangible advances across the healthcare system in support of all stakeholders who want to improve outcomes for patients and donors including care providers, researchers, and policymakers.By building partnerships, offering education, and sharing research, we are working to create a national network of patients and donors who can work together to improve understanding of kidney health and ensure that patient and donor voices are heard and amplified in the decisions that effect their lives.
At our core, we believe that no one facing kidney disease should feel alone — and that together, we can improve care for all kidney patients and kidney donors and create a stronger, more supportive transplant system in Canada.
